The Missouri Center for Public Health Excellence formed as a non-profit in 2013. Over the ensuing decade, MOCPHE has driven systems change by helping local public health agencies build programs, educate their staffs and improve the health of communities they serve across the state. We center the voices of LPHAs as the driving force behind public health in Missouri. In 2021, MOCPHE began an exciting transition toward something even bigger: a public health institute. We are now Missouri's sole member of the National Network of Public Health Institutes. While we continue to provide top-flight service to our growing list of member LPHAs, we are expanding our vision to become even more effective at improving the state's public health system.
